R-LABSHealthcare + Housing Innovation Cluster

Founding Sponsors · Seed round

Help build the models that don't yet exist

We're inviting corporate, philanthropic, family enterprise and public sector sponsors to provide non-dilutive seed capital that activates the first coalitions of the Healthcare + Housing Innovation Cluster.

This is an opportunity for mission-based capital to shape the missions and take part in a generational innovation opportunity.

Why catalytic capital

Seed capital that starts the engine

01

Activate the first coalitions

Seed funding brings partners to the table and moves the first missions from problem definition to prototype and pilot.

02

Fund what others can't yet

Grants tend to fund isolated pilots and venture capital waits for proven markets. Catalytic capital fills the gap where new cross-sector models are formed.

03

Build on what already exists

Sponsorship is designed to put R-LABS knowledge, assets and a growing partner ecosystem to work on each mission, powered by Athena AI.

04

Create models that can scale

The goal is evidence and operating models that can grow into ventures, licensed models or better public systems.

Who we're inviting

Four kinds of founding sponsor

Family enterprises

Patient, values-driven capital that leaves lasting community infrastructure and a generational legacy.

Philanthropic foundations

Leverage toward changing systems, not just funding programs that treat symptoms.

Corporate leaders

Proximity to frontier models across real estate, finance, insurance, health and technology, and a visible contribution to society.

Public sector partners

De-risked, evidence-led models that can inform policy, procurement and regional health strategy.

What founding sponsors receive

Proposed · To be validated

Not a logo on a banner. A role in shaping the work.

Shape the missions

Input into which missions, populations and places the first cohort prioritizes.

A seat at the table

Participation in coalition advisory sessions alongside health, housing and technology leaders.

Early insight from Athena AI

Briefings on what coalitions are learning across the mission portfolio.

Founding recognition

Acknowledgement as a founding sponsor across the cluster's work, where appropriate.

Stewardship

How sponsorship will be governed

  • Sponsorship is non-dilutive: sponsors do not receive equity or ownership in ventures.
  • Sponsors help shape priorities; coalitions and evaluators remain responsible for evidence and decisions.
  • Sponsorship terms, amounts, reporting and governance are still being defined and will be confirmed with each sponsor.

Be part of the founding cohort that gets the first coalitions moving.
